This is one more wonderful area for fishing. We appreciate the beautiful views of the mountains and river at 2nd Dam. Wind Cave is a delightful hike, but it is a lot longer and requires climbing upward, so it may not be a great choice for little kids. The grotto, which is more like an open archway, is awesome though, and a perfect welcome spot to rest after the hike.

One is located under the springtime and you need to scuba dive to see it, but the other is a small little cave to the left of the springtime. One of our preferred places to visit in Logan is Tony Grove.
This lake is located approximately 7 miles off the main canyon road, but definitely worth the journey. The wildflowers in mid- July are stunning. Limber Pine Trail is an easy trail to this giant tree. It is really about 7 trees that grew together, but still impressive. The path is gorgeous and even has a Bear Lake overlook.
One of the reasons we travel this route so often is to visit Bear Lake. If you make it to Limber Pine Trail, you're only a few minutes from vibrant blue Bear Lake.
Make sure to visit Logan National Scenic Byway, specifically when autumn colors are on show. At the route summit, you can view an incredible view of aquamarine Bear Lake.
